Eric Longa is a UK based multidisciplinary performance company with origins in movement, dedicated to exploring identity and fostering artistic and social dialogue through Spanish cultural heritage, professional development, and community engagement.

Eric Longa was founded by Patricia Langa, and it also encompasses all her work as a performer, choreographer, and movement director.

Originally from Barcelona, Patricia trained at Institut del Teatre in Barcelona and Rambert School of Ballet and Contemporary Dance in London.

As a dancer, Patricia has worked internationally with choreographers, directors, and companies including Lea Anderson, Ridley Scott, Aletta Collins, Simon Rattle, Rambert Company, Thomas Noone Dance, Dantzaz Konpainia, Impermanence Dance Theatre, Blind Summit, LA Philharmonic, Fernando Melo, Katya Bourvis, Chewy She, Gary Clarke Company, and many more. 

Since 2017 she is an associate artist and collaborator with Thick & Tight, Nicole Bachmann, and Corali Dance Company - an acclaimed group of artists with learning disabilities. Since 2023 she is resident choreographer at the celebrated ‘Fools Moon Cabaret’ at the Soho Theatre, London.

Her relevant work includes: QUEEROLÉ!, a short dance film about Flamenco’s queer history and its relationship with masculinity (a film performed, directed, and produced by her), which premiered at Festival of Queer Spanish Literature, in London on 2024.

And her most recent project Cabrolé!, which brings flamenco culture to everyone - artists and audience members alike - with a series of artist and community workshops culminating in an outrageous cabaret and fiesta with a flamenco. Read more about Cabrolé! project clicking here .

As a queer artist, choreographer, and collaborator her work has been presented at venues including The Royal Opera House, The Vaults Festival, Chessfest 23’ & 24’, Berlin Music Awards, major art galleries in London and Switzerland, European music festivals, and a variety of LGBTQI + venues & events such as The Royal Vauxhall Tavern, Duckie, Posh Club, The Yard, and The Divine.

As well as being a performing artist, Patricia has taught at Bath Spa University, St Mary’s Twickenham University, and with Gary Clarke Company. During Lockdown in 2020 she facilitated a Rave Workout class at Gary Clarke Company Digital, Syracusae Studio London, and Towards Vivencia Academy Online. She is a certified Gyrotonic Practitioner, and Gyrokinesis apprentice.
